NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
HUNTINGTON MANOR FIRE DISTRICT ANNUAL BUDGET FOR 2009
WHEREAS, on the 16th day of September, 2008, pursuant
to Section 105 of the Town Law and Section 181 of the Town Law the Board of Fire Commissioners of the Huntington Manor Fire
District confirmed that the Annual Fire District Budget Hearing will be conducted with reference to the Annual Fire District
Budget for fiscal year 2009 on Tuesday, October 21, 2008 commencing at 8:00 p.m. at the Fire Headquarters Building located
at 1650 New York Avenue, and
WHEREAS, the Board of Fire Commissioners
is required to adopt a proposed budget at least 21 days before October 21, 2008 so that it is available for public inspection
prior to the budget hearing.
NOW, therefore, BE IT RESOLVED that
the Board of Fire Commissioners of the Huntington Manor Fire District has adopted a proposed Annual Fire District Budget for
2009 as of this date for purposes of discussion and review at the Budget Hearing to be held on October
21, 2008 and a copy of the proposed budget is available at the office of the Town Clerk of the Town of Huntington and
at the office of the Huntington Manor Fire District Secretary at 1650 New York Avenue
where it may be inspected by any interested person
during office hours. In addition, a copy of the proposed budget is posted on
the fire district's website, and copies of the proposed budget will be available on the
night of the said hearing.
NOW, therefore, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED
that the Board of Fire Commissioners of the Huntington Manor Fire District will hold the Annual Fire District Budget Hearing
to be conducted with reference to the Annual Fire District Budget for fiscal year 2009 on Tuesday, October 21, 2008 commencing
at 8:00 p.m. at the Fire Headquarters Building located at 1650 New York Avenue.
NOTICE
IS HEREBY GIVEN that the aforesaid budget will be presented to the residents and taxpayers of the Huntington Manor Fire District
and to the Board of Fire Commissioners of the Huntington Manor Fire District, for their respective consideration at this public
hearing and for the purpose of considering the said resolution and hearing all persons interested in the subject concerning
same on Tuesday, October 21, 2008 commencing at 8:00 p.m. at the Fire Headquarters Building located at 1650 New York Avenue
